WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING AT THE CLUB AT BOCA POINTE; THEY ARE LINED OUT THE DOOR FOR DINNER – SOMETHING HOT MUST BE GOING ON!

Lined out the door for dinner!  What is going on at the Club at Boca Pointe?

“In all the years I have been here, I’ve never seen this before,” says Helen Karpel, general manager of the only country club in South Florida where members do not have to live or play or dine.

“We’re seeing dinner room covers like we’ve never seen before,” she adds.  “Two weeks ago, we had more than 500 covers; this past Friday night we blew through 400 covers.

“While season is always busy and the holiday breaks bring in family in town, this year has been especially active. Our Club has really found its stride now that most of the upstairs and downstairs areas have been enhanced with recent renovations.  Members are filled with pride in their Club and finding the Club to be the place to be!

“Yet, we expect this to continue year round. The covers take a small dip in off-season – maybe a little more than 300 covers – but it is still lively and fun.  This is especially the case with the monthly soirees in off-season that invites a band in the restaurant to entertain while dining.  Off-season will kick off with a soiree in May – Happy Daze – then in June – the Rhythm Chicks, and in July – the Euphoria Duo.  It is sure to be lots of dancing and laughs. In addition to our member enjoyment in the dining area, we have a reciprocal dining program welcomes other high-end Clubs to dine at our Club.  Many outsiders from these other exclusive clubs find the Club at Boca Pointe their first choice!”

What makes dining at the Club at Boca Pointe so popular?

  • The Club at Boca Pointe is positioned as the friendliest country club in South Florida where members don’t ask to see your stock portfolio; they just say, “Hello, how is it going.”
  • The food – its quality, its savory taste.  Not only does the Club at Boca Pointe lay claim to the best deli bar in town, but the variety of choices for the buffet or on the menu is also awesome.
  • The Club at Boca Pointe, one of the best country clubs in Boca Raton, constantly hears compliments about the warmth and friendliness of the wait staff.
  • The reasonable pricing as far as Boca Raton and Delray eateries are concerned because the Club at Boca Pointe, provides its members with high quality food at moderate prices, for example: A two-pound lobster with all the trimmings from soup to salad to dessert for $45 illustrates the point only too well.
  • It is the place where families and friends want to be on Friday night, whether dancing to lounge music or feasting on a top-of-the-line, delicious dinner choice.

The beauty of it all is that anyone can dine at the Club at Boca Pointe! Yes, anyone…as long as they have a membership.

Membership has its privileges.  And, one of the many privileges and thrills of being a memberis to dine at the Club at Boca Pointe.  Yet, there are many other privileges and thrills enjoyed by members beyond dining – the robust social events, card / Mah Jongg games, sports and fitness complex, 16 Har Tru tennis courts, and the 18-hole championship golf course.

By virtue of being a non-mandatory equity country club, the Club at Boca Pointe has been able to establish the most flexible membership program in the industry. Here are some of the examples of the Club’s forward thinking:

  • Members can enjoy the benefits of country club style living without the typical upfront financial commitment often associated with private country clubs.
  • Members can design their own lifestyle membership.  For example, the Club’s Premier program offers a variety of flexible options, starting with a social only membership to adding tennis and golf as exciting additional privileges. Memberships are available from three months to 12 months the first year and then from four months to 12 months from the second year and thereafter.
  • There are a number of customized programs available through the Club’s state-of-the-art Sports and Fitness Complex.
  • Memberships are available to anyone no matter where they live.  There are members from Highland Beach to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.  Whether you live at Boca Pointe or a community nearby, there is a membership that fits your lifestyle.

From the staff to members, new members will receive a warm and friendly greeting at every visit with a sincere heart to integrate them into the Club.  This is why the popular growing Premier membership sustains an extremely high retention rate – once a member, you never want to leave!  Why not call 561-864-8539 today to learn about the membership option that best suits your interests?

ANNUAL GOLF MEMBERSHIPS BECOMING A HOT ITEM AT THE CLUB AT BOCA POINTE

BOCA POINTE 220 golf double men sandtrapA golfer’s haven! That is what the Club at Boca Pointe is being called with its array of golf memberships.

The Club at Boca Pointe is a full service, non-mandatory equity country club in South Florida that uniquely offers golf only memberships for residents and non-residents of its community. With its recently renovated 18-hole championship golf course, the Club is attracting many new members.

“For avid golfers whose pure interest is golf, the Club offers a non-equity Annual Golf membership. This program is perfect for anyone who enjoys playing at a premier private country club, without having the typical financial equity expense required by other private clubs in the area,” says Helen Karpel, general manager.

“Our Annual Golf membership allows members to play golf in the morning and afternoons on an unlimited basis. The membership includes lunch, brunch and lounge privileges, with Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, except Mondays. The membership also includes dining privileges on Thursday nights most often in the Main Dining Room. In addition to social golf, Annual Golf Members can join the men’s and ladies’ leagues, participate in weekly tournaments, Sunday mixers, and the opening and closing dinner dances,” she added.

“We just further enhanced the Annual Golf membership to include residents in the Boca Pointe community. Previously, it was only available to those who live outside the Boca Pointe gates.

“We recognize that the Boca Pointe population is changing. There are many more working people in the community who might not have time to enjoy the full benefits of the country club but desire the golf experience as they overlook the beautiful 18-hole championship golf course,” Karpel added.

The Club at Boca Pointe offers many membership opportunities for golfers, ranging from Equity memberships to several Non-Equity memberships, including Annual Golf as well as the ever popular and growing Premier membership.

The Premier membership provides the opportunity for members to choose what level of club participation they are interested in and for how many months. The Premier membership offers eight categories, all of which include social privileges and then golf and tennis may be chosen as add-ons.

The Premier Membership is perfect for snowbirds who might be spending anywhere from three to 12 months in South Florida. For the first year, a member may purchase as few as three months, and then from second year and thereafter, members may purchase as few as four months. For golf members who join for fewer months, they find it surprisingly easy to integrate into the membership with introductions by the staff and participation in league play.

As a testimony of member enjoyment, Premier members who purchase less months upfront very often extend their membership by additional months before leaving for the north. For Premier members who decide to permanently move to Florida, they often become year-round members and get to fully enjoy the country club life at Boca Pointe every day of the year!

CLUBS WITHIN A CLUB

When you think of a country club, you think formal, rigid, stuffy, old fashion.  When you say The Club at Boca Pointe, you say youthful, energetic, fun, clubs within a club, plenty to do. A place where you can literally define your own lifestyle!

That’s right! The Club at Boca Pointe is not your typical “father’s or grandfather’s country club”.  It is a club for the “Happening” people.

Yes, Boca Pointe has the traditional golf course, tennis, athletic center, but that’s where the “traditional” ends.

Currently, seven special interest clubs within The Club at Boca Pointe enable members to share their like-interests with other members.  These “unique” interests cut through a cross-section of the club’s membership. All members whether equity or premier members are encouraged to define their own lifestyle by participating in these activities.

“These clubs are designed to further build friendship where people of like interests can meet and share experiences,” says Helen Karpel, General Manager of the “happening” Club at Boca Pointe.  “Whenever people of like interests can get together it just strengthens relations and helps build new friendships. In addition, we have two other groups that create and hold events for their audiences, Boomers and Boca Unos.”

The biggest club on campus is the Adventurers Club made up of more than 200 members.  Created in the 1990s, the Adventurers Club is dedicated to creating events that members would not normally undertake on their own or through the traditional club activities.

For example, how many members would ordinarily journey to Shark Valley, deep in the Florida Everglades or deliver “holiday presents” to the animals at the Miami Zoo or take a special behind-the-scenes tour of the new Miami Marlin Stadium? Probably none, but that is what being in the Adventurers Club gets you.

Then there is the Scam Troupe, founded and produced by Harriet Rubin.  The Scam Troupe is a performing group of members of the Cub at Boca Pointe that presents skits about “scams” that face senior citizens.  The troupe has performed all over Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County at various locations. The Scam Troupe has been the subject of many articles and has been covered on television internationally.

In addition to the Adventurers Club and Scam Troupe, today there is a Camera Club, Volunteer Club, Yiddish Club and Creative Writing.
