At the Club at Boca Pointe, every day is great but the lights are really dazzling Friday nights, in and out-of- season. Friday night at the Club…that is the place you want to be!

What is so special about Friday when every day is supposed to be like a weekend in Boca Raton? “It’s just special,” says Helen Karpel, general manager of the only private country club in South Florida that allows its members to design their own lifestyle and for as few as three consecutive months when visiting the Boca Raton area.

“In fact, during the off-season,” she adds, “members from other clubs often reserve tables for Friday night at the Club at Boca Pointe. It’s the place to be…it’s just a happening place.”

Let’s explore!

  • First, the Club at Boca Pointe offers live music every Friday night in the lounge, something only a few clubs do.

  • Second, there is the traditional Friday night buffet and menu that during the season will average close to 500 members and guests for dinner. And, the Club handles this with aplomb.

  • During the season, the Club’s social director has a Showtime Series with top talent from comedians, singers, dancers, and magicians appearing on a monthly basis by reservation only.

So, what happens when the “season” is over and snowbirds leave?

While the dinner crowd “dwindles” to maybe 250 or 300 members, which is good for the off-season, the lounge is still rocking with its entertaining music! Once a month, the talent moves into the main dining room for a Friday night Soiree, where the members and guests dine and dance all night long.

Friday night popularity can be witnessed as the Boca Pointe attracts members and their guests from other private clubs in the area during off-season on its reciprocal program. This program allows members from one club to dine at another club. The Club at Boca Pointe is high on the reciprocal list for Friday nights because of the high quality food and service, coupled with the talent in the lounge and the Soirees.

“Many mandatory clubs reduce their services during the summer months. At our club, it’s simple…business as usual, adds Karpel. “Being a non-mandatory equity club offers great flexibility to our members in that we offer equity and non-equity memberships, which allow us to uniquely meet the lifestyle interests of both seasonal and year-round Floridians.”

In addition to equity memberships that offer ownership in the club and ten categories to choose among, from social to social with golf or tennis in some combination, Boca Pointe offers several non-equity memberships.

One of the most popular non-equity options is the Premier membership that offers eight categories, from social to social with golf or tennis in some combination. It can be uniquely taken from three to twelve consecutive months the first year and four to twelve consecutive months from the second forward.

All Premier membership categories include full usage of the new Sports & Fitness Complex, pool, card rooms, robust social events, and dining facilities – three restaurants and two lounges, along with privileges to play tennis and golf, driven by the membership category chosen. Yes, Boca Pointe is “hopping” on Friday nights, but it is the place to be every night. If you are looking to fill your calendar, call Boca Pointe at 561-864-8539 or click here to learn more!
