Single tonight, don’t cook tonight…to paraphrase a once popular chicken restaurant chain.
At the Club at Boca Pointe, however, it is not just a paraphrase; it is the way of life for members who are single. In fact, the singles at the Club are not really single; they are part of an extended family.
Why not let Chef Terry Daniels, the Executive Chef of the Club, cook one of his specialties tonight at am amazing price. Enjoying a meal at the Club at Boca Pointe is not only extremely convenient, but it is so tasty!
A single member at the Club at Boca Pointe is never really a single. There is a table earmarked for those who would like to have company while they dine in one of the two main restaurants at the Club, where members are able to define their own lifestyle by choosing the level in which they would like to participate.
Singles have some “exclusive” activities starting with the ever-popular Au Bar held monthly where single members with like interests gather for “Happy Hour.” Then there’s the Inter-Club events where singles from the Club at Boca Pointe can visit or host the singles from other clubs allowing them to further extend “their family.”
This is just the tip of the iceberg at Boca Pointe. Thanks to the Club’s social director, Jane Young, the singles are “looked after as if they were your own children.”
“Whether it’s the holidays or maybe someone in their family who has a health issue, club members rally around each other in the good times and bad, creating an embracing, warm feeling for each other,” explains Young. “It is amazing how the members rally around to help each other!”
In addition to the Singles Club socials, there are numerous events organized by Young ranging from Caribbean cruises to group trips to Branson and other exciting places. Buses with chaperones leave the Club daily to visit museums, shopping, casinos and many other places of interest.
At Boca Pointe itself, there are clubs within the Club, including the Today Life Continues group, Moving Forward, What’s Up, and the FAU Lifelong Learning Center where the leading professors are on campus for lectures on interesting topics. At days end, the singles gather in the Main Lounge for Happy Hour followed by dinner where quality and diversity of menu and pricing make it easy to stay on campus all day and night.
