ACTION PACKED SCHEDULE SET FOR NEW SPORTS AND FITNESS COMPLEX AT THE CLUB AT BOCA POINTE

BP AC frontWhew! Busy really means busy when it comes to activities at the new Sports and Fitness Complex at the Club at Boca Pointe., where members can spend their day just “hanging out.”

Sherri Giannone, director of athletics, has put together an exciting schedule for members of the only country club in South Florida that allows its members to define their own lifestyle based on how long they are in the Sunshine State.

Just take a look:

September: This is Men’s Health Month with special workout sessions on September 13th, 20th, and 27th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., featuring Pedro, one of the Club’s highly qualified class instructors. There is also a lecture on Men’s Health being given by Dr. Sloan, an expert on lifestyle adjustment for older adults, on September 26th at 11:30 a.m.

October: There is a Member Participation Program of sailing from Miami to London through a special series of activities at the Fitness Center. The Fall schedule of classes begins on October 5th. To relax, there is a Spa Promotional Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the lobby. Let’s not forget the cute Halloween Costume Parade of Children on Saturday, October 31st at 9:00 a.m.

November: There is a Fitness Expo featuring health professionals providing information and mini assessments on Saturday, November 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Boca Helping Hands food collection of non-perishables will also be available to donate from November 1st to 21st.

December: Toys for Tots collection will be available for donations. You can showcase your dogs at special Yappy Hour Event, being hosted December 6th at the front of the main clubhouse’s golf driving range, which will the benefit the Tri County No Kill Shelter. And, don’t miss the Children’s Carnival on December 28th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Then, of course, there is the daily workouts … whether you like to burn some calories in the new state-of-the-art Fitness Complex with aerobic type classes or on fitness equipment or if play tennis and want to try your skills on one of the 16-Har Tru courts. After the workout, you can enjoy swimming and “sunning” at the Club pool or lunching at the Freshe Pointe Café.

The Club at Boca Pointe has it all! The Sports and Fitness Complex is just one of the amazing amenities available to members. The main clubhouse offers dining, happy hour, cards, Mah Jongg, social events, and a beautiful 18 hole championship golf course.
