THE CLUB AT BOCA POINTE HAS UNIQUE WAY OF REACHING OUT TO PEOPLE FACING LATE LIFE CHANGES

Late life changes are inevitable and when they happen, they can be traumatic -whether it is the loss of loved one or simple retirement. It happens, but life goes on…especially when you are in an environment that is conducive to meeting people who have warm hearts and a welcoming smile that simply says, “come join us.”

That’s the calling card of the Club at Boca Pointe, the unique non-mandatory equity country club in South Florida that offers many lifestyle options including seasonal memberships for residents and non-residents of the Boca Pointe community.

“One of the Club’s many characteristics is its ability to help new members assimilate,” says Helen Karpel, General Manager and one of the architects of the Club’s highly successful Premier Membership program. “Through the years, we have recognized the need to help members adapt to a new lifestyle as their own lives have changed, either through the loss of a loved one or retirement.

“We offer a number of different ways for members to assimilate into club life while they are building a new future for themselves. For example, we have two groups—Moving Forward and Today Life Continues—that help those who lost a loved one recently. These are not the typical bereavement groups; these are ‘let’s do things’ type of groups.”

The Boca Unos participate in many interclub social events with other country clubs and special events at home. Recently, the Club created a Club Table in its dining rooms for certain events. If you are single or a couple looking to join other members rather than dine alone, the table is there for you. Like going to the dining room on a cruiseship and the maître d’ asks if you “want to share or eat alone.”

Ms. Karpel explains, “the name of the game is helping members blend in with the Boca Pointe way of living and enjoy what life has to offer.   This perspective is the hallmark of our success!”

Boca Pointe welcome you to call the membership department at 561-864-8539 to learn more about the many membership options available to you, both equity and non-equity.
