BOCA-POINTE 73It is not over until it is over…or as some say, until “the fat lady sings.” Well, at the Club at Boca Pointe “over” used to mean the end of the season, which was traditionally earmarked by Passover and Easter.

“That is still true to some degree,” says Helen Karpel, general manager of the Club at Boca Pointe. “The Passover and Easter holidays typically begin the slow season; the time when the ‘snowbirds’ begin their trip to their primary non-Florida residences.

“However, we are finding more and more members are selling their primary residence and making Florida in general, and the Club at Boca Pointe specifically, their place to live and play year round. Boca Pointe enjoys a high retention rate for returning members.

“Our Club is very unique. We are the only private country club in South Florida where you can live at Boca Pointe, or anywhere else, and still be a welcomed member at our Club. We are the only South Florida club where members can literally design their own lifestyle by picking and choosing how they want to spend their time.

“We offer versatile membership programs that are designed to make the amount the time you spend in the Boca Raton area as pleasurable as possible. For residents and non-residents of the Boca Pointe community, our membership programs range from full equity to non-equity memberships.

“Among our non-equity offerings is our ever-popular Premier membership that provides a full country club experience for seasonal Floridians to year-round residents. The Club’s newest offerings include Family Sports and Family Sports & Golf memberships. Even the occasional visitor to South Florida can enjoy the club with our Passport membership that allows 30 days access to the club over a year. For the non-resident of Boca Pointe, we also offer an Annual Golf membership.

“This versatility enables us to stand head and shoulders above any other exclusive equity country club in South Florida where membership is mandatory. Membership at the Club at Boca Pointe is a finely tuned privilege.”

The Club at Boca Pointe just opened a new Sports and Fitness Complex that features state-of-the-art workout and fitness activities, a recreational pool with a splash deck for youngsters, and a hot tub, along with 16 Har-Tru tennis courts and the Freshe Pointe Café & Patio for lunch on-the-go. It is conveniently located near the main clubhouse.

“Opening our new Sports and Fitness Complex has enabled the Club to create the new Family Sports membership programs. These two programs are ideal for the working person or parent who only has limited time available to play. These programs bundle together the sports amenities, including privileges in the Sports & Fitness Complex, Tennis, and Golf at specific times of day. It also allows access to our “To Go” menu, dining once a month in our Main Dining Room, and unlimited eating at the Freshe Pointe Café & Patio,” Karpel adds.

With the relentless northern weather, Boca Pointe has witnessed an increase in both seasonal snowbirds and snowflakes coming to South Florida. We consider a snowflake the member who still works outside Florida but occasionally comes to town and wants to have a place to be. Our Passport membership allows a person to use our facilities for 30 days, including the restaurants, lounges, Sports & Fitness Complex, tennis and golf based on availability, and card rooms. The only exclusion to the privileges is social and special events at the club.

For all membership types, the fun is never “over” at Boca Pointe! Just like in-season, off-season continues to offer exciting activities – fun social events, cards, golf, tennis, working out, Happy Hour, dining, friends and great memories! Whether you live in Boca Pointe or nearby, own or lease, consider yourself a year-round Floridian or less frequent Floridian – seasonal or occasional visitor to Florida, the Club at Boca Pointe has a membership for you!
