COUNTRY CLUB EXPERIENCE WITHOUT COUNTRY CLUB COMMITMENT STRIKES AGAIN AT THE CLUB AT BOCA POINTE WHEN CHEF PREPARES A SPECIAL MEAL FOR A GUEST ON BUSIEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR

The Country Club experience without the Country Club commitment! What exactly does that mean in general and at The Club at Boca Pointe in particular?

Let’s answer that with an example. On one of the busiest nights of the year, when nearly 600 dinners are being served, a member put the challenge to Chef Terry Daniels, executive chef at The Club at Boca Pointe. “My grandson,” says the member to the chef, “has problems with eating. He only likes certain things. Can you make him pasta and meatballs?”

Pasta and meatballs were not even close to being on the traditional Friday menu! With members and their guests lined out the door for a near record 600 dinners, the member happily shared, “Within eight minutes, pasta and meatballs were sitting in front of my grandson who was smiling from ear to ear.”

The member is one of the club’s non-equity Premier members who joined the club about three years ago. As a Premier member, he and his wife are able to define their lifestyle without making the traditional commitment of equity, which is virtually standard for private country clubs in South Florida.

“We have a blended family,” says Helen Karpel, general manager. “We blend equity members with non-equity members. Our most popular non-equity membership is the Premier, which offers eight lifestyle categories for the seasonal to year-round resident. For the member who is barely in South Florida, our Passport membership is very popular as it gives access to the club for 30 usages in a year. Our Premier and Passport members are important to the club and treated with the same high quality of service as the equity members.”

Premier Members define their membership by choosing their own level of participation from social to adding some combination of tennis and golf. Premier Members can choose the number of months they want to use The Club at Boca Pointe, starting at a minimum of three consecutive months for the first year and four consecutive months the second year and thereafter.

Passport Memberships are designed for a “snowflake” – someone who flies in and out of Boca Raton frequently. This membership is also ideal for someone wanting a “taste” of the country club experience without the country club commitment. The 30 days are based on a rolling calendar and offer great flexibility. For example, if you use the fitness center, have lunch and dinner in the club, or even play golf, all in the same day that is considered one days’ visit of the thirty.

This is why The Club at Boca Pointe is considered so member-friendly! Our Premier membership alone has an amazing retention rate. If you want the convenience of easily filling your calendar with fun and interesting activities, wonderful food, and new long-lasting friends, while possibly adding a golf or tennis game into the mix, then we encourage you to call the membership department at 561-864-8539 to learn more!
