Remember the famous ad tag line:  “Don’t cook tonight, call…”!  Sure you do and that line has taken on a new ending …

“Don’t cook tonight, see what Chef Terry is preparing tonight!”

Well, nearly 800 members and their guests did exactly that for one of Chef Terry’s amazing and incomparable Thanksgiving dinners at The Club at Boca Pointe.

From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, they joyfully poured through the doors at The Club at Boca Pointe through the magnificent new lobby and into the celebratory dining room where they were satiated by an array of delicious foods.  This included:

•  1,250 pounds of turkey along with 5 gallons of gravy, 375 pounds of New York strip steak, 250 pounds of salmon.

•  More than 800 pounds of sides: green beans, creamed spinach, corn pudding, soup, yams, mashed potatoes and sweet potato mash.

• 400 pounds of prepared salads along with freshly baked breads.

• Topped off with 6,000 pieces of  dessert and 500 pounds of fruit!

Sounds like an overabundance of delicacies, doesn’t it? … And yet, there was not very much of any food left over.

“When you come to the club to dine, it is like you have a ‘personal chef’ in Chef Terry.  Not only is he good with a variety of menu options, but it is very convenient,” says a number of regulars.” I did not understand the original paragraph so reworded – hope I did not lose the context?

Dining at The Club at Boca Pointe is one of the highly appealing benefits of membership! It enhances the feeling of:  “Don’t cook tonight, let Chef Terry do the cooking” whether you are a single, a couple or a group, his plates will delight your palates.
