HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES DELIGHT YOUNGSTERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH MANY EXCITING EVENTS

getImage-25.gifThe grandkids may not have been here for the traditional Chanukah candle lighting ceremonies, but they sure had a ball visiting Pop Pop and Nana, especially with the annual Holiday Carnival as the highlight away from the cold weather in the North.

The parking lot at Center Court was packed with youngsters bouncing, running and participating in all the Carnival activities, which has become a family tradition for the little ones and not so little ones over the years.

The Carnival may have been the highlight, but what about the fun when Linda the Parrot Lady entertained you on December 26th with her unique show of parrots? Smiles and laughter were enjoyed by all!

Then, that same night at dinner, one of the magicians came to your table and you tried to catch him with his sleight of hand tricks.  It is such a hoot to see the amazement overcome us when we just can’t figure out how that happened right before our eyes!

Pop Pop and Nana took the family to the traditional Friday night dinner the next day, right?  They sure did in near record numbers.  But what no one expected, especially the young ones, was the fantastic reaction when the Balloon Artist came to the table and the little one said, “make me a puppy dog” or “a crown to wear,” or whatever else a five-year-old can imagine, and, the giggle of delight when the Balloon Artist actually did it!

Mixed in with the joy of spending time with the family was time amongst other adults.  On December 28th, William Penn House group entertained us at Center Court with the

traditional Pool Party.  What a wonderful time of socializing and making new friends!

Isn’t it great?  These fabulous events with your kids and grandkids were just a phone call away.  All you had to do was make reservations with no charge involved!  This is all included in your club membership.

As the year drew to an end, it came time for Pop Pop and Nana’s night with the adult kids.  The New Year’s Eve celebration was sold out to usher in the Dawning of a New Era for The Club at Boca Pointe!  It was a great evening!

If you are a member at The Club at Boca Pointe and missed any of these events, as the Brooklyn Dodgers used to say:  “Wait until next year!

If you are not a member, yet, you do not have to wait until next year.  You can begin getting in on the fun by taking advantage of the many new membership offerings that the club has designed for Boca Pointe residents to meet a variety of lifestyles interests.

The Club at Boca Pointe, a country club In Boca Raton,  has enjoyed celebrating this last year with our members!  As we begin 2014, from our family to your family, we wish you a happy and healthy new year!
